Visitor, Destiny Discover is the way that you can search for print books that are in our GUHSD school libraries. While you may not have access to check these books out during the summer, this is a good time to become familiar with the catalog so that you will know how to find items when you return to school.

1. Search for GUHSD library books using Destiny Discover. NOTE: Your school library should have a direct link to your school on their website.
2. For “State or Province,” select California (CA). For “Districts in California (CA),” select Grossmont Union High School District, El Cajon, CA. Then, search for your specific school site and click Go!
3. On the Destiny Discover home page, browse through Topics, Collections, Recently Added Books, etc. to locate a book that you would like to check out. You can also do a search for title, author, or Topic.
4. Take a screenshot of a book in Destiny Discover that you would like to check out. Notice the “Call Number” information, which can help you locate the book in your on-site library. See sample screenshot below.
5. To complete this quest, upload the screenshot of your Destiny Discover find under “Add a file” below and then click Complete.
