Hello, Visitor!

In this challenge you will shoot your photos.  But before you go out to shoot, you need to know a few things.

Are you ready?

When you check out a camera you should do the following 4 things:

1. Make sure you have a charged battery and memory card.
2. Reset the camera settings (see video)
3. Format the memory card (in the settings new the reset in the video)
4. Check and set date and time (also in the settings)

Also practice how to focus.

Focus, Frame, and Shoot!

For this assignment you will need to be on the Program (P)-mode. This is basically auto but you get to change some of the settings. The last user might have jacked up your settings, but that’s OK because you watched the video and reset the settings . . . right.  You did reset the settings?  If you didn’t do that now!

Now back to focus, frame, and shoot.
Basically, you point the camera, hold half-way on the shutter release button, reframe, and then shoot.  There really is a half-way down on the button.
